Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: April 28, 2026
1. Principle
Slipstream is built for individuals who want fast, private, reliable internet access. We trust our users by default. This policy exists to set clear expectations and to protect the small minority of cases that affect everyone else.
2. What You Can Do
You can use Slipstream for any normal, lawful purpose, including streaming, browsing, and using online services; working remotely and accessing work tools; protecting your privacy on public networks; and accessing services that aren't available in your physical location, where doing so doesn't violate the law.
We don't monitor what you do, and we don't want to.
3. What You Can't Do
You can't use Slipstream to:
Break the law.
You're responsible for understanding and following the laws of your country and any country whose services you connect to. Slipstream isn't a tool for circumventing legal obligations.
Harm others.
No harassment, stalking, threats, doxing, or distribution of harmful content directed at specific people.
Distribute illegal content.
No child sexual abuse material, content that incites violence, or content that infringes copyright on a commercial scale.
Attack systems.
No port scanning, DDoS, brute-force attacks, vulnerability scanning of systems you don't own, or attempts to break into other people's accounts or networks.
Send spam or run malware.
No bulk unsolicited email, no operating malware command-and-control, no botnet activity.
Resell or rebrand.
Don't resell Slipstream access, share your account commercially, or rebrand the service as your own.
Abuse the service.
Don't run sustained activity that disrupts the service for other users — for example, generating extreme bandwidth in ways that aren't reasonable consumer use.
4. How We Enforce This
We don't proactively monitor user activity. Per our Privacy Policy, we don't log what you do.
We act on:
Specific abuse reports we receive from third parties
Legally binding requests from law enforcement
Patterns visible in aggregate operational data (for example, an account using extreme bandwidth in a way that affects other users' service)
If we believe an account is violating this policy, we may contact the account holder to discuss, suspend the account temporarily, or terminate the account permanently in serious cases. We won't issue refunds for accounts terminated due to policy violations.
5. Reporting Abuse
If you believe someone is using Slipstream to cause harm, email abuse@slipstreamly.com with details. We review every report and take appropriate action.
6. Your Responsibility
You're responsible for your own use of Slipstream. The service routes your traffic privately; it doesn't grant you legal protection for actions that would otherwise be unlawful.
If you're not sure whether something is allowed under your local law or under this policy, ask us before you do it: hello@slipstreamly.com.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Acceptable Use Policy as needed. Material changes will be communicated by email or via a notice on the site.
