Privacy Policy

1. The Short Version
We don't log your traffic, DNS queries, or anything you do while connected to Slipstream. We collect the minimum information needed to run the service — your email, your subscription status, and your device count. We never sell your data.
2. What We Collect
Account information. When you sign up, we collect your email address. Your email is used to authenticate you, send you receipts, and contact you about your account if needed.
Subscription information. We track your subscription tier, expiry date, and payment history (transaction IDs and amounts only). We don't store your credit card details — those are handled by our payment partner.
Device information. To enforce per-plan device limits, we track the number of devices currently connected to your account. We don't store identifying information about those devices beyond what's needed to enforce limits.
Usage information. We track aggregate bandwidth per account (monthly totals only) for capacity planning and to detect abnormal use patterns. We don't track which sites you visit, which apps you use, or what data passes through the service.
Cookies. Our website uses session cookies to keep you logged in. We don't use third-party tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or analytics cookies.
3. What We Don't Collect
We don't log:
- The websites or services you connect to
- DNS queries
- Source or destination IP addresses on a per-session basis
- The content of any traffic passing through our network
- Browser fingerprints, cookies set by third parties, or device fingerprints
If we don't need it to operate the service, we don't collect it.
4. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide and maintain Slipstream
- Process your payments
- Communicate with you about your account
- Detect and prevent fraud or abuse
- Comply with legal obligations
We don't use your information for advertising. We don't sell your information to third parties. We don't share your information for marketing purposes.
5. How We Share Your Information
We share information only with parties who need it to operate Slipstream:
Our payment partner processes card payments on our behalf and receives the information needed to do so.
Our crypto payment partner (NOWPayments) processes USDT payments and receives the information needed to do so.
Our infrastructure providers (cloud hosting, DNS, email delivery) receive only the data necessary to provide their service.
Law enforcement, if we receive a legally binding request that we are required to comply with under applicable law. We will challenge requests we believe are improper or overly broad.
6. International Transfers
Slipstream operates globally. Your information may be processed in countries other than the one you live in. We use providers who maintain reasonable data protection standards regardless of jurisdiction.
7. Data Retention
Account information: retained for the life of your account, plus 90 days after cancellation for billing reconciliation.
Payment records: retained as required by tax and accounting law (typically 6–7 years).
Aggregate usage statistics: retained for up to 12 months for capacity planning, then deleted.
Server-side technical logs: rotated every 7 days. These contain operational data only — no per-user activity.
If you delete your account, we delete personal data within 90 days, except where retention is required by law.
8. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate information
- Delete your information
- Object to or restrict certain processing
- Receive a copy of your information in a portable format
To exercise any of these rights, email us at hello@slipstreamly.com. We'll respond within 30 days.
If you're in the EU or UK, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
9. Security
We protect your information with reasonable technical and organizational measures, including:
- Encrypted connections to our servers
- Encrypted storage of sensitive account data
- Access controls limiting who can view account information
- Regular security reviews and updates
No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your information, we'll notify you and applicable authorities as required by law.

11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll notify you by email or by posting a notice on the site. Your continued use of Slipstream after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
